Help and Tips

+ Logging In

  1. If you would like to login to your account, click the My Account tab in the top right of the Live and Play site.

  2. This brings you to the Client Logon page where you can enter your Email Address and Password to login.

  3. If you do not have an account, or have forgotten your password, please select one of the below Click here links on the Client Logon page to gain access to your account.

+ Forgot my password

  1. If you have forgotten your password select the My Account tab in the top right of the page. This will bring you to the Client Logon page.

  2. From here select the first Click here link that you have forgotten your password.

  3. A page will open asking you to enter the email for your account.

  4. Type your email address attached to your account and click the Send button. You will receive an email shortly that will provide you a link to reset your password.

Note: Passwords must include one upper case, one lower case, one number and one character.
Note: to protect customer accounts, the reset password email link is only valid for 30 minutes

+ Change my password

If you cannot remember your password please review the “Forgot my password” tip.

  1. If you need to change your existing password please first logon to your account.

  2. Once logged in, select your account name in the top right of the page to display your account options.

  3. From here select Change Password and a page where you can modify your password will open.

  4. Enter your current password and the new password into this page. Once you have confirmed your new password a second time select the Change Password button.

Note: Passwords must include one upper case, one lower case, one number and one character.

+ Editing/updating account information

  1. When logged in, select your account name in the top right to display your account options.

  2. From here select Edit Details and a page where you can modify your account settings will open.

  3. Once you have completed adding to or modifying your account information select the Update button at the bottom of the Edit Details page.

+ Adding family members

  1. When logged in, select your account name in the top right to display your account options.

  2. From here select Groups and this will open a page displaying the group attached to your account.If you do not currently have a group and would like to add one to your account, please call 403-268-3800.

  3. Additional members can be added to your family or group by clicking the Add button. This will open the Add Family Member page where you can enter in the new person’s information and role.

  4. Once you have finished entering their information select the Add User button.

+ Multiple accounts under the same email address

Note: Having Multiple Accounts attached to your email is separate from a family or group member being added on your account.

  • You may have more than one account linked to your email address.
  • When resetting your password, the site will ask which account you want to reset.
  • Each account will have a unique identifier and the name of the account.
  • Each account will need a unique password.
  • If these accounts need to be merged, please contact us at liveandplay@calgary.ca.

+ How to view Registered Programs

To view the available Registered Programs on Live and Play select the Registered Programs tab at the top left of the site or select the button at the bottom left of the home page.

From here you may:
  • Enter a Barcode if you know the barcode of the program you wish to register for.
  • Browse by Activity by selecting the corresponding button at the bottom of the page.
  • Browse by Location by selecting the corresponding button at the bottom of the page.
  • Conduct a filtered search by selecting the Filter button at the bottom right of the page.

+ Register for a program

For tips on how to browse for different courses on Live and Play, please read the How to view Registered Programs tips section.

There are usually many Courses offered for a particular Program. Here are the steps to register for a particular course:
  1. Once you have found an available course at a date and time you like, select the Details button to the right of the course.

  2. A Course details page will open showing more information pertaining to that course. If you wish to register for this course select the Book button to indicate you will be attending this course. This will add this course to your Basket.

  3. From here you can Continue Shopping or Checkout by clicking the corresponding buttons at the bottom of the Basket page.

  4. Once you are ready to pay for your course(s) select the Checkout button. A payment window will open for you to fill out your payment information.

  5. Once you have completed this form select Submit Payment, and you will be registered for this course.

+ View Drop-in Programs

  1. To view the available Drop-in Programs on Live and Play select the Drop-in Programs tab at the top left of the site or select the button at the bottom middle of the home page.

  2. From here you may Browse by Activity OR Browse by Location.

  3. Once you have found a drop-in program you are interested in, at a location you would like. Click on the title and a list of available times will be displayed

Note: You do no need to register for a drop-in program, you only need to show up while the program is taking place.
