Yoga for Runners – Youth & Adult

Reduce your chances of injury by balancing your run training with this yoga class. Learn poses that will lengthen your hamstrings, quads, hip flexors, chest and calves. Work to strengthen run specific muscles including the core. Special attention will also be given to your feet with rolling, stretching, foot activation and strength. Take this time to slow down your nervous system and balance the physiological challenge of run training. This class may be offered in an air-conditioned studio. Please wear comfortable, layered clothing and bring your own yoga mat and blanket / towel.
