Enjoy riding our indoor stationary bikes as you party your way to fitness. Follow up with a relaxing stretch and cool down and you will leave feeling energized.

Adapted Floor Curling

Floor curling is an indoor version of the Olympic sport of curling. This very social sport can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. Our ‘pusher sticks’ can be used to deliver the stones/rocks which enables everyone to play – seated or standing. The best part of this sport is that it is fun!!

Adapted Rock Climbing - Outdoors

Join this exciting introductory climbing program! Participants will learn about the basics of climbing, equipment, knots and how to belay safely through instruction and climbing games. Program designed for all skill levels.

Adapted Soccer /Ball Hockey – Youth

With a focus on fun and physical literacy, you will learn fundamental movement and sport skills including the ABC’s of sport: Agility, Balance and Coordination. And of course, you will have time to play the game. Each week we will alternate playing soccer and ball hockey.

Adapted Sports

Connect with other sports minded people. Play a variety of sports such as soccer, basketball, badminton, floor hockey, large group games and more. Let the games begin!

Adapted Water Polo

All swimmers and non-swimmers are welcome! Water Polo is a great way to have fun, meet new people, and improve your fitness level. You need your own goggles and swimsuit - all other equipment including flotation devices are included. No previous experience needed.

Come play and learn about popular sports! Gain the benefits of recreation, physical literacy and sport through a quality introductory experience. Sports could include soccer, basketball, badminton, tennis, cricket and more. This program offered in partnership with the City of Calgary Recreation and local sport organizations.

Sports - Badminton Basics

This is the perfect introduction to badminton where you’ll learn basic skills and rules of the game. Your helpful instructor focusses on fun and encouragement so that all levels and abilities are challenged. No previous experience or equipment is required.

Sports - Badminton Game Play

Looking to increase your badminton skills? Focus is on strategy and skill development, with quality instruction and game play. Participants will have the opportunity to practise their skills and play in a ladder tournament each day.

Sports - Basketball Skills

Get ready to develop some skills on the court! From dribbling, passing and shooting to rebounding one-on-one moves and defensive strategies, you’ll be a better basketball player and learn about fairness, sportsmanship and team play.

Sports - Cricket

Cricket anyone? Always wanted to learn? Join us for an introduction to cricket. Players will learn the basics of cricket, including rules, batting, bowling, fielding and wicket keeping. No previous experience is required for this co-ed program and emphasis is on fair play, sportsmanship and team play.

Sports - Learn to Roller Skate Level 1

For those with little or no Roller skating or Inline skating experience. Overcome apprehension and begin working on skills such as balance and forward movement. Participants must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet or skate/snowboarding helmet; bicycle helmets are not permitted.

Sports - Smorgasports

Sports, sports and more sports! Let your kids try a variety of physical activities and sports like floor hockey, soccer, t-ball and basketball. All the games and sports are designed for younger children and encourage participation, movement skill development. All they need is energy for this action packed program!

Sports - Soccer - Indoor

Play soccer - indoors! Learn basic ball handling skills, drills and game play. No previous experience required for this co-ed program.

Sports - Soccer & Ball Hockey

Want to learn two new sports! Participants split their time between Soccer and Ball Hockey, learning basic fundamentals and simplified game play. Activities are modified to suit all ages and abilities and other games and sports may be included, depending on group interest.

Sports - Sports Jam

Get ready for some serious sports action! This is a jam-packed introduction to rules, sport skills and basic physical literacy movement skills, with an emphasis on sportsmanship and fun. Participants will jam on everything from soccer, ball hockey and basketball to badminton.
