Get your feet wet and have fun! This introductory program is designed specifically for adults and adolescents who are non-swimmers. You’ll feel comfortable with an instructor who meets your individual challenges, needs and interests. Learn basic breathing techniques, movement skills, front and back floats and glides.
This flexible program is designed specifically for adults and adolescents with a strong focus on stroke refinement. The instructor focusses on meeting individual needs and interests, catering to each swimmers skill and abilities. Water Safety can be integrated into the program depending on student interest.

Water Safety can be integrated into any of the levels dependent on student interest.
This class is for parents and children from 6 months to 3 years of age. Based on the principal of 'Within Arms' Reach', Parent & Tot focusses on close play and fun between child and parent. Explore with your little one and enjoy bonding time in the water!
Preschoolers will practice and improve on level 1 skills including, putting their faces in the water, blowing bubbles, floats and back glides. They’ll also be introduced to level 2 skills like jumping into the water, exhaling under water and flutter kicks.
Preschoolers will practice and improve on level 2 skills, including lateral rollovers, front and back glides as well as flutter kicks. They’ll also be introduced to level 3 skills, like the sideways entry into deep water wearing a lifejacket.
Preschoolers will practice and improve on level 3 skills, including retrieving objects in waist deep water and back flutter kicks. They’ll also be introduced to level 4 skills like opening their eyes under water and treading water.
Preschoolers will practice and improve on level 4 skills, including opening their eyes underwater, pendulum rollovers onto the back and treading water using the sculling action. They’ll also be introduced to level 5 skills like a forward roll entry into deep water, whip kicks and interval training.
In this combined program, swimmers will work through a variety of entries and exits and practice surface support, underwater skills, swim to survive skills, movement swimming skills and fitness built for their respective swim level.
Swimmers will practice kneeling dives, forward rolls into deep water, handstands and front somersaults in water. They'll also work on front crawl, back crawl, whip kick on their back, and interval training. Swim for Life - Swimmer 2 is a prerequisite.
New skills include standing dives into deep water, underwater swims of 5m include, whip kicks on front and breaststroke arm drills. Swim to Survive standards include: roll entry into deep water, treading water for one minute, swimming 50m – skills to survive a fall into deep water. Swim for Life - Swimmer 3 is a prerequisite.
In this combined program, swimmers will work through progressions for entries and exits they’ve learned so far. They will continue to practice surface support, underwater skills, the Swim to Survive standard skills, movement/swimming skills and fitness. Each participant has the opportunity to focus on skills built for their swim level.
