Parent & Tot Swimming Lessons

Parents and tots can expect to play in the water  and learn to enter and exit safely. Play is important for developing postive views of aquatic settings.

Choose the best swimming lesson level for you or your swimmer.
Answer a few questions and we'll recommend a level. Take the swimming skills quiz.

Come prepared:

  • All participants must wear swim wear and bring a towel. Swim goggles are optional.
  • All children 35 months and under must wear plastic pants over their swim diapers. If you don’t have plastic pants, they can be purchased at the pool.​​​​
  • All other required equipment and lifejackets are provided. Lifeguard on duty on pool deck.

Parent & Tot 1 & 2: Swim for Life®


You and your toddler will explore the water together using the "Within Arms' Reach" principle. You will bond with your toddler and help them enter and exit the water safely, float and blow bubbles.

Age: 4 months - 2 years + adult

Parent & Tot 1, 2 & 3: Swim for Life®


Bond with your toddler as you introduce them to the water. You will use the "Within Arms' Reach" principle to create a fun environment to learn safe ways to enter the pool, hold their breath and blow bubbles.

Age: 4 months - 3 years + adult

Parent & Tot 2 & 3: Swim for Life®


You and your toddler will explore the water together. Based on the "Within Arms' Reach" principle, you will focus on close play, bonding with each other and having fun in the water. You will help them learn safe ways to enter and exit the water, different types of floats and how to hold their breath.

Age: 1 - 3 years + adult
