Register for Dementia Programs
Programs for individuals living with dementia focus on movement, expression, and community-building. Activities support brain health, mobility, and independence.
Care partners and support staff are encouraged to participate.
Come prepared with the following:
In shallow water, participants living with dementia will take part in fun, low-impact exercises that build strength. Care partners are welcome in the water to provide support and connect with others.
Age: 18+
Through seated and standing exercises, participants living with dementia will take part in exercises that will improve their overall balance and strength. Trained staff will provide support and maintain structure throughout each class. Care partners are welcome to provide support and connect with others.
Age: 18+
Participants living with dementia will take part in outdoor golf activities while socializing with their peers. Trained staff will provide support and maintain structure throughout each lesson and time on the course for new golfers. Care partners are welcome to participate to provide support and connect with others.
Age: 18+
Participants living with dementia will take part in indoor golf activities while socializing with their peers. Trained staff will provide support and maintain structure throughout each lesson. These lessons take place in an indoor golf simulator.
Age: 18+
Participants living with dementia will learn to move to a variety of music styles with dance-based fun exercise routines. No dance experience is required and activities can be done seated. Trained staff will provide support and maintain structure throughout each class. Care partners are welcome to provide support and connect with others.
Age: 18+
Through gentle yoga poses, care partners will learn to find balance in their physical, mental and emotional well-being. This class is done barefoot. This will be run at the same time as Balance & strength with dementia.
