Register for Dementia Programs
Programs for individuals living with dementia focus on movement, expression, and community-building. Activities support brain health, mobility, and independence.
Care partners and support staff are encouraged to participate.
Come prepared with the following:
Participants living with dementia will explore a new two- or three-dimensional art medium each week while learning techniques in drawing, painting, printmaking and mixed media. All supplies are provided. Care partners are welcome to provide support and connect with others.
Age: 18+
Through seated and standing exercises, participants living with dementia will take part in exercises that will improve their overall balance and strength. Trained staff will provide support and maintain structure throughout each class. Care partners are welcome to provide support and connect with others.
Age: 18+
Participants living with dementia will take part in indoor golf activities while socializing with their peers. Trained staff will provide support and maintain structure throughout each lesson. These lessons take place in an indoor golf simulator.
Age: 18+
In a relaxed and inclusive setting, participants living with dementia will be introduced to lawn bowling. Classes focus on enjoyment, gentle physical activity and meaningful social connection. Trained staff will provide support and maintain structure throughout each class. Care partners are welcome to provide support and connect with others. Equipment will be provided.
Age: 18+
Through a variety of drills, activities and scrimmages, participants living with dementia will learn the basic rules and techniques of pickleball. Trained staff will provide support and maintain structure throughout each class. Care partners are welcome to provide support and connect with others. Equipment will be provided.
