Shouldice Athletic Park

Soccer, football, softball and baseball make Shouldice Athletic Park a sport hotspot for hosting training, leagues and tournaments of all calibers. Located in Northwest Calgary, Shouldice boasts three regulation size artificial turf fields, the facility is available for booking (March through November, weather permitting) to all interested rental groups including football, soccer, lacrosse, ultimate, field hockey, rugby, special events, tournaments. In addition to the three artificial turf sport fields, Shouldice has 4 grass sport fields and 8 ball diamonds.

Live Streaming Available at select City-Operated Recreation Facilities

Through our partner, HomeTeam Network (HTN), leagues, clubs, and events can be viewed live or on demand by friends, family, and supporters from anywhere with an HTN subscription. To find a livestream, search by facility name or league on HTN.

B-Class Premium Fields

Found in most City athletic parks. They may have staff and/or amenities such as seating, lights, change rooms, washrooms (some portable) and concessions. Regular grass cutting. Corner soccer flags supplied.

B-Class Premium Ball Diamonds

Found in most athletic parks, these diamonds may have staff and/or amenities such as seating, lights, change rooms, washrooms (some portable) and concessions. Regular grass cutting occurs. All diamonds are dragged, lined and have bases.

Outdoor Artificial Turf Fields Availability

The City of Calgary offers Artificial Turf Fields at Shouldice Athletic Park, Ernest Manning Athletic Park and the Calgary Soccer Centre. Artificial turf fields can be used for football, soccer, field lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, field hockey, rugby, special events and tournaments.

Indoor Field Availability

Our Indoor artificial turf fields are located at the Calgary Soccer Centre and the Shouldice Seasonal Dome.
