The City of Calgary Parks Sport Grouping Areas map displays sports fields and related amenities across the city, helping you identify suitable locations when planning or booking sports activities.
A cricket pitch or ground is primarily used for practicing and playing the sport of Cricket, but it can also be used for Australian football. Calgary's Cricket pitches are D class fields. They are maintained by the City of Calgary Parks. Mowing is sporadic.
The City of Calgary offers Artificial Turf Fields at Shouldice Athletic Park, Ernest Manning Athletic Park and the Calgary Soccer Centre. Artificial turf fields can be used for football, soccer, field lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, field hockey, rugby, special events and tournaments.
The velodrome outdoor cycling track is located at Glenmore Athletic Park.
