Strength & TRX Classes

Strength training builds muscle, shapes your body and increases your physical abilities so you can do more.  It will engage your core and help with stabilization. You will also learn principles of proper strength techniques.

Come prepared with the following:

  • A water bottle
  • Clean, indoor athletic shoes that have not been worn outdoors

Active Aging Week - Adult Weight Room Orientation


Learn to safely use machines and equipment, and more in this orientation for individuals aged 40+ years.

Abs & Arms - Youth & Adult


Strengthen your arms and abs in this challenging and energetic group fitness class.

Barre - Youth & Adult


This fun class uses ballet-inspired movements to develop strength, tone, and definition.

Buns & Bellies - Youth & Adult


Enjoy a variety of moderate intensity strength exercises focused on abdominals, hips and legs.

Essentrics - Youth & Adult


Feel energized and uplifted as you develop strong, flexible muscles and increase your mobility in this wellness focused class.

Parent & Baby - Barre


A ballet-inspired movement class that you can bring your baby to.

Plus Size Fitness - Youth & Adult


This encouraging, non intimidating fitness class allows you to forget your size, age and fitness level.

Pure Strength - Youth & Adult


This group based progressive strength training workout uses barbells with adjustable weights to strengthen and define the major muscle groups.

Small Group Training - Athletic Older Adult


Small group training sessions focusing on training concepts geared towards the active older adults. Completed PAR-Q+ form is required. Required Forms and Waivers: PAR-Q+

Small Group Training - Body Under Construction


This small group training class delivers personalized attention and a progressive full body program focused on transforming your fitness level and body composition. Completed PAR-Q+ form is required.

Small Group Training - FUNctional Strength Training

Small Group Training - Power Hour Circuit


This small group training class delivers personalized attention and a progressive full body program using fun and dynamic circuit-based training sessions. Completed PAR-Q+ form is required. Required Forms and Waivers: PAR-Q+

TRX Yoga Fusion - Youth & Adult


A fusion of fitness and yoga using the TRX Suspension Trainer to build strength, mobility and core stability.

TRX Strength - Youth & Adult


Energize your day with this total body strengthening class using the TRX Suspension Trainer and other equipment.

Weight Room Orientation - Youth & Adult


In this orientation, you'll get an overview of fitness equipment, learn about specific weight room etiquette, and be introduced to basic fitness conditioning principles. Parent waiver required for youth 13 - 15 years.
